Michael Boston
Michael Boston is an American actor from Los Angeles. He also is an award-winning writer/producer/director of BlackCat69 Prods debuting in 2017 with the short film Dress Rehearsal. This short went on to win 15+ Best Short Film awards, internationally, as a narrative. He has since produced 2 more shorts under BlackCat69 with The Guitar in 2018 and Jesus Rides A Harley in 2019.
His first feature film screenplay, Little Boy Blue, in 1997, won the MystFest award for Best Picture. The film starred Ryan Phillippe, Nastassia Kinski, John Savage and Emmy/Tony award winner Shirley Knight.
Boston grew up in Massachusetts, Mississippi and Oklahoma before moving to LA to study among other places at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts but didn’t stay past one year after auditioning in the summer and booking four commercials and the lead role in the feature film SONNY BOY, a very dark tale of an abused young boy who was turned into a killing machine in a small desert town. A long pending distribution deal sent the feature to the shelf but Boston kept busy with small television roles and appeared in over 30 commercials often playing the lead in beer, truck and even candy commercials before penning his first screenplay, Little Boy Blue.
After a decade plus out of the business, Boston returned with his own production company and hopes to produce his first feature film in the very near future. He currently has a couple of dream projects, which are very character-driven stories that have proven to be his trademark.
